Watching this video just raises the hair at the back of my neck. It is sheer genius. I do not want to boast but I have thought about this before and came to the similar conclusion. That is the reason why I do not even BOTHER to listen to arguments like if Global Warming is true or not - because the arguments and debates about the validity of Global Warming DO NOT MATTER. Mind you, I am talking about the debate not the fact that GW is true or not that DOES NOT MATTER.

Debating about it is a waste of our precious time. This is the reason why. In the debate there are 2 sides. One is the pro-GW who argues that GW is right and the other who is against-GW who thinks GW is fiction. For pro-GW to be proven right they have to wait until GW happens and when it does it is too late to act. For against-GW to be proven right our future just be uneventful or interpretively if we wait forever then against-GW is right. Hence, for us to find who is right in this debate we have to wait until 'finally' GW comes or we have to wait FOREVER until GW comes. Now, what happens if GW finally comes? Pro-GW wins. But what happens with GW never comes? Then we have NO WINNER. Why? Because NEVER is FOREVER. For you to prove that GW is a fiction you have to wait FOREVER. That is to disprove GW you have to wait infinitely long time. As you wait - there can be no winner in the debate. For against-GW to win you need to wait forever (a time we do not have) hence since we do not have forever Against-GW cannot WIN! If we do not have a winner then we do not have a loser because one cannot exist without the other. Therefore pro-GW cannot be disproved.

So let's recap what we have. In the debate, there can only be 2 outcomes. One outcome is pro-GW wins and GW happens or the second outcome is that we have a stalemate and wait forever. So what does this tells you? Pro-GW is going to win or draw and Against-GW is going to lose or draw.

Therefore, it is pointless to debate about whether GW is true or not.

(I hope you see the argument I am making - I am struggling to quantify my thoughts in this into words. It make sense to me but it may not make sense to you. Comment if you need me to clarify. I will reread this later and tweak the argument later if I have to.)
