TED which stands for Technology Entertainment Design is an annual intellectual convention that is held in Monterey California where ideas are shared amongst highly creditable intellectualist /designers / pioneers / etc. TED is a convention for invited guest only and speakers has to be invited to talk in this convention.
What was shared in TED were never shared amongst the world until now. At TED.com videos of presentations on technologies,world issues, peace, philosophy, art, etc are added weekly. I highly recommend this website.

Dedicated to those who feels that the world is ending because of wars and violence today.
The fact is that we are currently at a time that is furtherest away from the end of the world. Our perception of the truth is highly distorted by the media which is a place where bad news are just SATURATED.
