I have seen this documentary about two
16 year old girls conjoint at the neck
(two heads, two necks but one body) and
how they live their lives with two very
different identity in one body. Their
names are Amber and Abby. Amber controls
one side of the body and Abby the other.
The most interesting thing is that
simply mundane tasks we do all day can
be a challenge for them. Like scratching
an itch, if Abby has an itch Amber does
not feel it. So how does Amber help her
sister to scratch if she doesn't feels
it? What they do is Amber would tell her
exactly where she itches and Abby would
scratch it for her. Driving a car is
very difficult. Amber controls the
vipers, Air condition, radio, hand
brakes and throttle while Abby controls
the signals, the foot brakes, the
cushion adjustor and seat belts while
both of them has to control the wheel.
Clapping their hands in a crowd - they
did it with such harmonious sync even
when one only controls each hand. They
also need two hands to tie their hairs -
one holds the hair while the other fix
the ribbon on it. The determination and
collaboration they exude was amazing.
And after the show I have pulled so many
real life conclusions about
relationships. They are the ideal
example of how a couple in love should
be. Any two couples can be right for
each other if they both,

DECIDE TO BE

right for each other. Thus there is no
excuse that you both are just too
different and are not fated to be with
each other but the excuse has always
been "just decide not to be with each
other".

Irreconcilable Differences is one of the
biggest reasons for divorces. However,
when comes to Amber and Abby's case the
differences are ENORMOUS! Amber has only
the right side of the body and Abby has
only the left side of the body. Amber
controls the keys to the right of the
keyboard with the mouse and Abby to the
left. Simple tasks such as chatting or
typing an essay for their school report
we can see to be extremely difficult for
them. Not convinced? Try having you and
your best friend tied at the hips and
arms with only one arm from each to use
and COOK A MEAL. The problem was never
irreconcilable differences but the
inability for one or both to respect the
other's individuality. Respect that and
you guys will always be a match made in
heaven.

Say cheers my friends to,

'til death do you and your partner part
my friend. =)
